CALL BACKS
Thank you to all those who came out and auditioned for Street of Dreams Jr. Theatre's Fall Production, Frozen Kids! It was a pleasure to see the effort and energy that all of you put into auditions. Below is a list of Dreamers we would like to see again for Callbacks. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, September 11, from 9:30 until we are finished (approximately 11:00). Dreamers should plan to be at Callbacks the entire time. Remember that a Callback does not guarantee you the role you are called back on. All materials for Callbacks are available below.
REMINDER - THERE ARE NO DANCE AUDITIONS.
Below is a list of Dreamers we would like to see on Sunday, September 11 for Callbacks.
Please note that if you do not see your name, that does not mean you are not going to be cast for the show.
EVERYONE WILL HAVE A PART IN THE SHOW.
The reasons for Callbacks could be as follows:
1 You are being considered (or already cast) for a particular role and we want to see you do short excerpts of the requirements for that part.
2 You had a very strong audition and are being considered for multiple parts.
3 We need to see you paired with other people that are being considered for roles you will interact with for pairing.
4 We have several people who did well on their audition and are having a difficult time choosing.
Please prepare the song/script excerpt listed by the part(s) you are being called back on. Please note that some parts do NOT have a singing portion.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST USE THE RECORDINGS FOR THIS AUDITION.
We do not expect the song or dialogue to be memorized for Call Backs. However, the more prepared you are, the better you will perform for your audition. Please be prepared to sing the ENTIRE song you are assigned (if your character has a singing role). We are looking for personality and energy along with good diction and pitch.

There is always the possibility that we may ask you to read for other parts at Call Backs as well once we are under way. Please be flexible. It is a good idea to become familiar with all of the parts.
AUDITION SIDES
Audition sides are excerpts of dialogue from the show that are used to gauge an auditionee's personality and reading/performing abilities. Please prepare an audition side for the part you wish to audition for. Lines do not need to be memorized for the audition, however it is encouraged. You will also need to prepare a song from the show. Try to select a song that represents the character you are auditioning for. Song auditions may be sung a capella (with no music) or with a backing track.
