Auditions
 

Audition Requirements:

• Prepare a one-minute monologue.
• Sing a song from this LINK
• Videos of your audition should be submitted via email to [email protected] no later than Thursday, May 15th, by 5:00 pm.

Audition Review:​

• Callbacks will be posted on our website as soon as possible after Friday's auditions.
• There WILL be a short dance audition on Sunday, May 18th.  Nothing to fear, just so we can see who are strongest dancers are as there are some special moments in the show where we can showcase them.
  
• Callbacks will take place on Sunday, May 18th, at SOD at 12:30 pm. If you cannot attend callbacks, please submit your video audition by 12:30 pm as well.

PLEASE NOTE - THESE AUDITIONS ARE DIFFERENT THAN JUNIOR SHOW AUDITIONS.

Please prepare a one minute dramatic monologue of your choosing.  (This is different than what we do for Junior shows.  Google "monologue" to find something you would like to use.  It does not need to be memorized)  Additionally, please prepare the audition song for the character you are auditioning for from the list below.  If you cannot attend auditions or callbacks, please send an audition video to [email protected] no later than 5:00 pm on May 15.  More audition information can be found by following the Audition Information link below.

Rehearsals will be held at Street of Dreams In either Avenue A or D.  The rehearsal schedule will, for the most part, be as follows: 

Fridays 7:00 - 9:30
Sundays 1:00 - 5:00

We will have our first rehearsal on Sunday, May 25 12:30 - 4:30pm.  

TECH WEEK!

Sunday, July 27  Move In/Lights 4:00 - 9:00 (NO ACTORS)
Tuesday, July 29 - Tech Rehearsal 4:00 - 9:00
Wednesday, July 30 - Tech Rehearsal 4:00 - 9:00
Thursday, July 31 - Tech Rehearsal 4:00 - 9:00 
Friday, August 1 - Dress Rehearsal 4:00 - 9:30 (ACTORS IN COSTUME/MAKE UP)

PERFORMANCES!

Saturday, August 2 - SHOW 1 2:00 pm (Call Time 12:00 you will stay until after Show 2)
Saturday, August 2 - SHOW 2 7:00 pm 
Saturday, August 2 - SET STRIKE - Immediately following the final performance - All cast is required to stay until everything is moved back to the Alley and put away.
