AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions for Matilda, Jr. will take place on Friday, Sept. 5 (7:30-9:30pm) + Saturday, Sept. 6 (3-6pm)
Each child auditioning must sign up for a time slot below.
Auditions are for any child ages 9-14 or grades 4th-8th.
Video Auditions will be accepted and must be emailed to Miss Aimee no later than 3pm on Saturday, Sept. 6.
An email requesting video audition must be sent so she is aware - - [email protected]
Callbacks will take place on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 12-3pm. Please note that not everyone will be needed at callbacks.
An email will go out after auditions on Saturday, Sept. 6 if your child will be needed at Callbacks.
*Please note that everyone will receive a part in the show even if they are not called back for specific parts.

AUDITION SIDES
Audition sides are excerpts of dialogue from the show that are used to gauge an auditionee's personality and reading/performing abilities. Please prepare an audition side for the part you wish to audition for. Lines do not need to be memorized for the audition, however it is encouraged. You will also need to prepare a song from the show. Try to select a song that represents the character you are auditioning for. Song auditions may be sung a capella (with no music) or with a backing track.
Please prepare something from the songs on the link below to sing for your audition. You DO NOT have to do one that is listed with the lyrics below, any song from MATILDA, JR. is fine. Just giving as much help as possible. Try to choose a song that best represents the character you are auditioning for.
