CALL BACK AUDITION INFORMATION
,Thank you to all those who came out and auditioned for Street of Dreams Theatre's Production, Matilda, Jr.! It was a pleasure to see the effort and energy that all of you put into auditions. Below is a list of Dreamers we would like to see again for Callbacks. Callbacks will be held tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 7 at 2:00PM until we are finished (approximately 6PM). Dreamers should plan to be at Callbacks the entire time. Remember that a Callback does not guarantee you the role you are called back on. Please also know that just because a dreamer is not called back for a role, doesn't mean they aren't being considered. We just needed to see a little more from these dreamers. All materials for Callbacks are available below. If you're dreamer is unavailable for callbacks, please let Miss Aimee know & email your callback video to Miss Aimee; a[email protected] by 12pm.

We are doing a staggard call and will release dreamers as we move throughout the day. Be prepared to stay until you are released.

2:45pm - All Friends (Bruce, Lavender, Nigel, Tommy, Eric, Amanda, Alice, Hortensia)
3:30pm - Trunchbull
4:00pm - Miss Honey, Mrs. Phelps, Mrs. Wormwood, Mr. Wormwood
5:15pm - Escapologist/Acrobats
Please note that if you do not see your name, that does not mean you are not going to be cast for the show or a speaking part.
EVERYONE WILL HAVE A PART IN THE SHOW.
The reasons for Callbacks could be as follows:
1 You are being considered (or already cast) for a particular role and we want to see you do short excerpts of the requirements for that part.
2 You had a very strong audition and are being considered for multiple parts.
3 We have several people who did well on their audition and are having a difficult time choosing.
Please prepare the song/script excerpt listed by the part(s) you are being called back on.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST USE THE RECORDINGS FOR THIS AUDITION. WE PREFER INSTRUMENTAL (NO GUIDE VOCAL) TRACKS FOR CALLBACKS.
We do not expect the song or dialogue to be memorized for Call Backs. However, the more prepared you are, the better you will perform for your audition. Please be prepared to sing the ENTIRE song you are assigned (if your character has a singing role). We are looking for personality and energy along with good diction and pitch.
