CALL BACK AUDITION INFORMATION
Thank you to all those who came out and auditioned for Street of Dreams Jr. Theatre's Spring Production, Seussical Kids! It was a pleasure to see the effort and energy that all of you put into auditions. Below is a list of Dreamers we would like to see again for Callbacks. Dreamers should video tape their call back audition materials and email the video to Miss Aimee at [email protected] by Sunday at 9:00 am. If you have ANY questions about how to send in your video, please reach out to Miss Aimee. Remember that a Callback does not guarantee you the role you are called back on. All materials for Callbacks are available below.
Below is a list of Dreamers we would like to see videos for Callbacks.
Please note that if you do not see your name, that does not mean you are not going to be cast for the show.
EVERYONE WILL HAVE A PART IN THE SHOW.
The reasons for Callbacks could be as follows:
1 You are being considered (or already cast) for a particular role and we want to see you do short excerpts of the requirements for that part.
2 You had a very strong audition and are being considered for multiple parts.
3 We have several people who did well on their audition and are having a difficult time choosing.
Please prepare the song/script excerpt listed by the part(s) you are being called back on. Please note that some parts do NOT have a singing portion.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST USE THE RECORDINGS FOR THIS AUDITION.
We do not expect the song or dialogue to be memorized for Call Backs. However, the more prepared you are, the better you will perform for your audition. Please be prepared to sing the ENTIRE song you are assigned (if your character has a singing role EXCEPT Young Kangaroo). We are looking for personality and energy along with good diction and pitch.
